71 dogs a day, or 26,000 a year die from collar strangulation. This is a problem that is only partially solved. Imagine this: Your dog is outside in the backyard playing by himself when all of the sudden his collar becomes entangled on a sturdy tree branch. He panics. He is crazily trying to escape from the death grip the tree has on him. By the time you hear him whining, go outside and run to him, he is already gone. This story is one example of many possible scenarios in which your dog can die quickly and stressfully, by collar strangulation. One of the most important things you can do to protect your beloved pooch, is to supervise them. This can save their life. If you are constantly supervising your pup, you will be right there if he starts to choke. The other solution to this drastic problem is a breakaway collar. These special collars are very effective and on many occasions have saved collar-strangulation victims from possible death. Take action on this problem today!
